Rates include:
Unlimited mileage, pre-hire cleaning, extra driver fee, living equipment & 24hr roadside assistance. Rates are based on a calendar day.
Insurance:
Compulsory CDW insurance: NZ$20 per day + NZ$2500 bond
Optional Complete Cover insurance (instead of CDW): NZ$38 per day + NZ$220 bond
Rental locations:
There is a Queenstown Airport pick up fee of NZ$10 payable direct to Maui on collection of the vehicle. There is a Queenstown Airport pick up fee of NZ$12 payable direct to Maui on collection of the vehicle. One way rentals between North & South Islands incur a NZ$150 fee.
Queenstown & Wellington — Pick up and / or drop off in
Queenstown & Wellington incurs a NZ$100 fee (some city pick up and drop off, one fee applies).
License & minimum age:
A full current UK driving license is required and the minimum age in 21.
Road restrictions:
Maui motorhomes can only be driven on sealed, bitumen or well maintained roads. They may not be driven on Skippers Road (Queenstown), Ninety Mile Beach (Northland), Ball Hut Road (Mt. Cook) and north of Colville (Coromandel Peninsula).
Repairs:
Repairs of up to NZ$100 may be carried out without authorisation and will be reimbursed. All repairs in excess of this amount must be authorised by Maui.
