Diesel Tax:
On 1st March 2002 the New Zealand government announced changes to its taxation policy for diesel light commercial vehicles in the country. As a result from the 1st April 2002 motorhomes will be subject to an additional taxation fee. Rental on Maui vehicles will incur an additional charge. This new fee will be calculated on return of the vehicle based on kilometres travelled during the hire, and payment will be accepted locally at termination of rental.
