This trip takes you 18 kms by road from River Valley Lodge and then returns 12 kms by river back to River Valley.Thrills and spills on one of New Zealand's best half day white water rafting trips the Grade 5 gorge section of the Rangitikei River. Customers require their own towels and swim suits, all other equipment provided. (Minimum age 13 years)

A relaxing grade 2 day rafting trip of 13 kms for all the family. Explore beautiful canyons while drifting down clear pools and rafting small fun rapids. This is a spectacular part of the Rangitikei River, with immense cliffs rising out of the river and native forest by the rivers edge. A picnic lunch is served on the riverbank. Customers require their own towels and swim suits, all other equipment provided. (Minimum age 4 years)

Horse Trekking

A horse ride through the central north island hill country. Treks operate over a sheep, cattle and deer station. There are horses for all riding abilities, with spectacular views of the local countryside. Customers require long trousers and sturdy footwear and a camera is recommended. (Minimum age 13 years)
