| Day 9: |
Wellington-Picton-Christchurch
Join the ferry and cruise through Marlborough and Queen Charlotte
Sounds to Picton on the South Island. Board the TranzCoastal
train to enjoy one of New Zealand’s most spectacular
coastal journeys! Arrive in Christchurch and overnight at
the centrally located Grand Chancellor Hotel. |
| Day 10: |
Christchurch-West Coast Glaciers
Board the famous TranzAlpine express train for a spectacular
journey to Arthur’s Pass. Visit a Greenstone (Jade)
Factory at Hokitika. Continue south to Franz Josef Glacier.
Opportunity for a scenic helicopter flight (own expense and
weather permitting). Overnight at the friendly Scenic Circle
Fox Glacier Country Hotel nestled in the Westland National
Park. |
| Day 11: |
West Coast Glaciers-Queenstown
Travel through the sub-tropical rainforest to Haast Pass, then
visit popular Arrowtown. Next 2 nights at the Mercure Resort
Queenstown.

Queenstown
Today is free to relax or to explore at your own pace. Tonight cruise scenic Lake Wakatipu on the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner with sheep and farm dog demonstrations at Walter Peak High Country Station. |
| Day 13: |
Queenstown-Milford Sound-Te Anau
Join the Kingston Flyer, New Zealand's fully restored famous
vintage steam train for magnificent views of Lake Wakatipu
and the fascinating alpine desert. Journey to the Fiordland
National Park. Cruise spectacular Milford
Sound
and be enthralled
by views
of the
towering
Mitre Peak and the beautiful Bowen Falls. Return to the quaint
forested lakeside town of Te Anau for a night at the Luxmore
Hotel. |

Te Anau-Dunedin
Leave Fiordland and journey to Dunedin. Be captivated by the grandeur of a bygone era in a guided tour of historic Olveston House. Overnight at the Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin. (Homestay Option available - must be prebooked). |
