The Hollyford Track

Trek Information
Trek Difficulty
Grade
The walking is grade 1 (on a scale of 1-4) and is suitable for fit walkers of most ages, who are able to walk on uneven ground for up to 17km (11 miles) a day carrying a rucksack. You need to carry your own personal belongings with you, so it is advisable to train for the trek in advance carrying a rucksack. The trails vary from level and smooth to steep and rocky and there may be streams to wade, which can get quite deep after heavy rain. During the day you walk at your own pace and there is no pressure to keep up with those ahead, if you prefer to walk at a slower pace.

Trek Guides
You are accompanied by trained guides, who are outdoor enthusiasts, knowledgeable about the local area’s history and wildlife, as well as trained in first aid.
