During the trek you stay in lodges where towels, bed linen, duvets and pillows are provided.

The Abel Tasman Track

Abel Tasman National Park, located on an undulating peninsula at the northern end of the South Island, protects one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in New Zealand, lapped by a turquoise sea.
The world famous Coast Track reveals hidden estuaries, idyllic golden sand beaches, castaway islands and forested headlands, which provide a superb location for this three or five day walking trip. The route is accessible all year round, with winter days often calm, crisp and sunny. The comfortable lodge accommodation, with open fires to take off the winter chill, and variety of other activities on offer make this a popular outdoor destination at any time of year.
Practicalities The three or five day trip includes transportation to the start and from the end of the trail, from Nelson or Motueka, which are both easily accessed from other parts of New Zealand, by coach or car. Breakfast, a packed lunch and a three course evening meal with wine are provided each day during the trek. We provide all participants with a day rucksack, in which you carry your packed lunch, water bottle, camera and any other items you may need during the day. The rest of your luggage is transported from one lodge to the next, so there is no heavy pack to lug around!
