Knapdale is a tranquil utopia, only 10 minutes from Gisborne airport but a world apart from urban living. Knapdale Eco Lodge offers relaxation and the opportunity to enjoy superb food which is mostly grown in their own garden. Set in a rural environment, this is an ecotourism venture. The main lodge was completed in June 2004 and offers an upmarket farmstay type facility offering two beautifully appointed rooms, one with ensuite bathroom and the other with a private bathroom.
