| This is a great way to see whales and because they are much easier to spot from the air, the success rate is 98%, though of course you cannot approach as close as in a boat. After a safety briefing and talk about the marine environment, you take to the air for a thrilling 30 minutes flight with full commentary. Trips are weather dependent. |

| A boutique tour catering to a maximum of 10 guests at a time. The tour offers a Maori cultural experience, visiting various significant sites in and around Kaikoura township while listening to tales of bygone days handed down through many generations. There is the opportunity to participate in customs, learn Maori protocol and key values, explore one of Kaikoura's bush walkways and learn about the indigenous uses of the trees and plants. Light refreshments are served midway through the tour and a small memento is given at the end. |
