Lake Rotoroa Lodge is a Victorian fishing Lodge/Resort/Retreat nestled in the northern extremity of New Zealand's Southern Alps. Far from the maddening crowds in this isolated, beautiful, unspoiled location surrounded in the forest fairyland of the Nelson Lakes National Park. The Lodge has a world class reputation for its trout fishing, cuisine and service. 10 suites all decorated and furnished in the elegance of years gone by. However, each has its own modern bathroom with toilet/shower. Wonderful 1920's brass beds with feather quilts surrounded by antique furniture. All suites have superb lake and mountain views. The Lodge is approximately 104kms from Nelson Airport, approximately 1.5 hour's drive. Or 4 hours drive from Christchurch.
