| A ski plane can land safely on snow, which gives a marvellous opportunity to get really close to the glaciers! The superb scenery starts the minute you take off from Mt. Cook Airfield and fly past the towering peaks of the Lieburg Range to Murchison Glacier. Land on the Tasman Glacier, New Zealand’s largest, before returning to Mt. Cook Airfield. The flight is weather dependent. |
