Milford Mariner Overnight Cruise
Duration: 1 night / 2 days
Departures: depart: 08.30 daily
return: 15.30 (next day)
This is a great trip, which gives you the opportunity to explore Milford Sound in a more relaxed way. By spending the night on the water you will appreciate the special tranquility of the place and enjoy the eerie light of dawn and dusk in this most scenic corner of New Zealand. Travelling by coach from Queenstown you’ll board the sailing boat on arrival at Milford Wharf. You’ll sail out along the sound to the Tasman Sea and with experienced nature guides on board plenty of time will be spent on looking for wildlife as well as enjoying the waterfalls and rainforests. Wind permitting we return by sail and anchor overnight in Harrison Cove. After a buffet dinner, optional extra excursions are available, such as kayaking, at no extra cost. Next morning, after breakfast, we explore further in the sound before returning to Milford Wharf. Accommodation is in cabins with private facilities.
