Explore the untouched World Heritage area of the Dart River Valley by jetboat and canoe. A 75-minute jetboat ride takes you to your inflatable canoe and a superb picnic lunch is provided at one of the scenic stops during the 3 hour journey down the grade 2 river, finishing at Paradise. The 40 minute back road journey to Glenorchy passes many film location sites, including those from the Lord of the Rings.

A 2 hour sailing experience on Lake Wakatipu, the boat NZL14 was part of the New Zealand Challenge for the America’s cup in 1992, skippered by Russell Coutts. After motoring out past the historic white beacon at the head of Queenstown Bay and once clear of the reef the mainsail and headsails are hoisted. Under the power of sail enjoy a scenic trip around the lake. There is the opportunity to get involved in the sailing or simply sit back and relax. No hotel pick up/
