Enjoy a helicopter flight that features the region's spectacular volcanic crater lakes. Land on Rotorua's most historic volcanic feature Mokoia Island. On the ground enjoy a walk amongst some of New Zealand's rarest birdlife such as the stitchbird, black robin and saddleback, as well as historical landmarks including Hinemoa's Pool. No hotel pick up/drop off included.

White Island Flight

Explore an active volcano. Fly east taking in views of lakes, forest and the volcanic fault line. Land for approximately one hour to trek to the crater through remains of a sulphur works, boiling water, crystallised sulphur and much more. On the return flight watch for dolphins and school fish on the surface of the water below. No hotel pick up/drop off included.

Kiwi Encounter

Kiwi Encounter is a working hatchery and nursery. Learn how we incubate, hatch and raise Kiwi chicks for release back into the wild. Walk through an open plan nocturnal area, home to adult Kiwi and learn about what makes our Kiwi such a unique bird. No hotel pick up/drop off included.

Hells Gate Mud Bath & Spa

The Hells Gate Mud Bath & Spa contains 3 semi private mud baths (one family mud bath and two 3 people mud baths), and two pure sulphurous spa’s overlooking the Hells Gate Geothermal Reserve. The area is semi-public and open but offers a great outlook over the geothermal Park. There are many other options also available at Hell’s Gate including a Thermal Reserve Walk, a private mud bath and spa and a range of beauty treatments. There is a complimentary shuttle that picks up from hotels in Rotorua at 9am, 1pm and 5pm (4pm between Apr-Aug), this must be pre-booked.

A wonderful way to explore the Maori culture of Rotorua. This product offers a day pass that provides entry to - The Rotorua Museum to gain an understanding of the origin of this city and the cultural history behind it, Hell’s Gate Mud Bath and Spa and a guided tour of the geothermal park that holds a lot of historic value to the Maori people. By 5:30pm you visit Realm of Tane a dramatic blend of guided tour, character theatre and story telling before going by coach to Tamaki Maori Village for a traditional hangi dinner and concert.
