| Day 6: |
Rotorua
Visit the Te Puia Thermal Reserve and Maori Arts and Crafts Institute where
you will see demonstrations of local crafts and view the thermal activity.
See boiling mud pools, silica terraces and steaming geysers including the
famous Pohutu Geyser.
Scenic FreeChoice Afternoon: choose from
(1) Agrodome sheep shearing and farm dog show; or (2) Geothermal mineral
pools at the Polynesian Day Spa; or (3) Try trout fishing; or (4) Visit the
Buried Village archeological site; or (5) Rotorua Museum; or (6) 4WD Safari
Adventure; or (7) take a city and lake tour. Included in the tour, at no

| Day 7: |
Rotorua-Napier
See the Wairakei Geothermal Power Station, then visit Huka Falls enroute
to Lake Taupo. Continue on to the coastal township of Napier and take a
guided walk around this unique city renowned for its Art Deco architecture
and visit the Hawkes Bay Museum. Enjoy wine-tasting and diner at the Church
Road Winery. Overnight at Scenic Circle Te Pania Hotel. |

Napier-Wellington
Depart Napier and head south to Wellington. Enjoy a guided tour of the Te
Papa National Museum. Overnight at the luxurious harbourfront Duxton Hotel,
Wellington. |
| Day 9: |
Wellington-Picton-Christchurch
Join the ferry and cruise through Marlborough and Queen Charlotte Sounds
to Picton on the South Island. Rejoin your coach and travel down the scenic
east coast via Kaikoura before reaching Christchurch and the end of the
tour. |
