Hanmer Springs-Abel Tasman-Nelson
Travel to the top of the South Island and enjoy a scenic cruise in the Abel Tasman National Park. Time to relax or take a stroll at Anchorage Bay before cruising back and onward to Nelson. Spend two nights at The Rutherford Hotel. |

Scenic FreeChoice Day: choose from (1) A Visit to the World of Wearable Arts & Collectable Cars; or (2) 'Explore the Plains' Wine Tour; or (3) Take a Nelson City Walking Tour. Included in the tour, at no extra cost. |

Nelson-Picton-Wellington
Follow a scenic route back to Picton for the ferry crossing back to the North Island through the Marlborough Sounds. The afternoon is free to explore Wellington. Overnight at Duxton Hotel. |

Wellington-Taupo
Travel through the vast volcanic plains of Tongariro National Park to Lake Taupo for an overnight stay at Wairakei Resort. Afternoon free to relax. |
| Day 24: |
Taupo-Mt Manganui-Auckland
Visit Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland before journeying to Mt Maunganui for an easy walk around this extinct volcano. Continue to Auckland for overnight stay at Langham Hotel. |

Auckland
