| At Claremont Country Estate
luxury harmonises with nature. The 2400 acre high country
sheep station offers breathtaking scenery, stunning geology
and unique natural rock sculptures. Claremont is set on
the spectacular Waipara Gorge within an area of outstanding
beauty, just 45 minutes from Christchurch airport and close
to Waipara wineries. The lodge is elegantly furnished and
guests have use of the entire 1866 heritage building, including
two guest lounges, shady vine-clad verandas, stone-walled
terraces and beautiful gardens. Claremont’s delicious
cuisine includes fresh salmon, home produced lamb or venison,
garden fresh vegetables, organic fruit from Claremont’s
orchard and other local produce. |
