| Clients need
to make their own way to and from Makarora approximately
45 minutes from Wanaka on the West Coast Highway.
View some of New Zealand's most primitive scenery
from land, water and air. View mountains, rivers,
glaciers, alpine lakes, waterfalls and rain forests.
The tour begins with a 25 minute flight, then a 3
hour walk beginning in the Siberia Valley in the
Mount Aspiring National Park, and concludes with
a 30 minute Jet Boat ride. No hotel pick up/drop
off included. Subject to weather conditions. |

| An easy guided hour’s walk to the summit of 527m Mt Iron, a rocky outcrop scoured by glaciers and overlooking Wanaka and the lakes. After enjoying the views, descend for a further hour down the other side to make a loop. |

| Located at Wanaka Airfield this museum is the home of the Alpine Fighter collection which includes over twenty classic aircraft. Established in 1993 the museum also displays photographic boards that cover the history of the RNZAF and the New Zealand RAF Squadrons. In conjunction with the Museum, an Air-show is held in early January, as well as ‘War-birds over Wanaka’ held biannually over Easter. |
