The Red Rocks are volcanic pillow lava tinted with iron, though the Maori believe them to be stained with blood. On this tour by Toyota Land Cruiser, we travel along the beach south of Wellington to Tongue Point. We view the colourful Red Rocks and enjoy the bird life, the fur seals and dramatic coastal scenery, before returning to the city by road.
